across the border in afghanistan, officials in pakistan say at least 40 people have been killed and dozens injured in suspected you estrone attacks. the strikes targeted the northwestern tribal belt close to the border. missiles hit a vehicle and a compound. hours later, in the south, another area was hit. the death toll could rise. moody's causing more turmoil in europe today.
